Use of data
The data we collect is used to provide our software solutions, to improve them and to adapt them to the needs of our users. We may also use the data to facilitate communication with users, such as sending updates, important information and offers. In addition, we may use personal data to meet legal obligations and to safeguard the security and integrity of our systems.
Protection of data
At SalesDash we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard the security and confidentiality of personal data. We implement security measures to prevent unauthorised access to, or loss, misuse or alteration of, data. We also keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above and in accordance with applicable law. Our servers are equipped with security software, and we only send your data over a secure internet connection (“https”).
Sharing of data
We do not share users’ personal data with third parties, unless this is necessary to deliver our software solutions, to manage our affiliate programme, to meet legal obligations, or with the user’s explicit consent.
As part of our affiliate programme, we may share personal data (such as your name, company name and the status of your application) with the partner or affiliate who referred you. We do this solely to track the progress of your application and to administer our cooperation with our partners correctly, on the basis of our legitimate interest in managing the affiliate programme. The partner or affiliate may not use your data for its own marketing or any other purpose.

Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer, laptop or phone while you browse. We may place our own cookies or third-party cookies on our websites. We do this to make our website work properly, to improve our services and to run our campaigns efficiently. On our websites you can give consent for cookies and similar techniques.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above and in accordance with applicable law. Where no statutory retention period applies, we aim not to store personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
The SalesDash app
This section is about the SalesDash app for Android. The app gives you access to your employer’s SalesDash environment. SalesDash B.V. (Kastanjelaan 400, 5616 LZ Eindhoven, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KVK) 94508941) processes the data in that environment on behalf of your employer.
The app processes the following data:
- Your email address. When you sign in, we send a code to this address and show the accounts that belong to it.
- Your name and user ID, so that you and your colleagues can see who you are in dashboards, competitions and achievements.
- Your profile picture and GIF, if you upload them yourself. This is optional.
- Sales and commission figures. These come from your employer’s systems, such as a CRM, and the app shows them. Administrators can also edit them in the app.
- A push token. If you allow notifications, your device receives a token that lets us send you notifications. They are delivered through Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging, which receives the content of each notification in doing so.
- Error reports. If something goes wrong in the app, the app sends an error report to our server, including your user and your device type and browser version.
We use this data only to deliver the service: signing you in, showing your figures, sending you notifications and fixing errors. The app shows no advertisements and does not use an advertising ID. We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties, except with Google to deliver notifications.
All of the app’s connections use a secure connection (https).
You turn notifications on or off in Android’s settings. When you sign out, we unlink your device, so the next person to use it does not receive your notifications. When you change your password, we unlink all of your devices.
